ARRIVING IN LAS VEGAS

A number of shuttle services are available at McCarran International Airport Las Vegas, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-13. One-way fares from the airport to hotels on the Las Vegas Strip range from $5.00-6.00

Taxicabs are located on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-5. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers. The maximum number of passengers allowed in one taxi is 5, including infants and children. Please note that taxis will not accept credit card payments and there is a $1.20 charge on all fares originating at the airport. The cost of a one way taxi ride to a hotel on the Strip is approximately $14-20 depending on traffic.

Public transportation is also available on the Citizens Area Transit (CAT). Adult fares are $1.25.

GETTING AROUND THE LAS VEGAS STRIP

The Las Vegas Monorail is a convenient way to travel among the Las Vegas Strip hotels. It operates from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Friday-Sunday. Gliding above traffic at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour, you will be able to cover the four mile long route in approximately 14 minutes for as little as $5.00.
