Andy Birch joined Infor in 2006 and has worked in the Enterprise applications software industry for 20 years. He has worked in a variety of roles initially in support, training, implementation, being largely responsible for the successful implementation of several long term multi-million dollar projects in the public sector. He then moved into roles covering presales, product management and product marketing in a career that encompassed spells at Tetra Business Systems, Sage, Best and latterly Systems Union. At Systems Union Andy was involved in the evolution of company strategy encompassing acquisition of business intelligence and analytic divisions to meet the demands of today’s CFO and their Financial and Performance management requirements. Andy now heads up the Industry and Product Marketing team for Infor’s Financial Solutions Group and involved in ensuring that the financial management solutions continue to meet and exceed customer and market demands. His experience, coupled with his extensive business and industry knowledge, makes Andy well qualified to commentate on the area of financial & performance management and enterprise software.
