As a principal of Optegra, Jason Balliet is the firm’s Executive Vice President of Professional Services and Chief Operating Officer. As such, he is responsible for overseeing account development, consulting services and project implementation for all operational efficiency engagements. He also provides executive-level management and consulting on operational and front-office projects, as well as executive oversight and liaison with corporate executive management teams.
Mr. Balliet is an expert at integrating customer-centric solutions like CRM within the overall framework of corporate computing and business strategies. He has served as a principal consultant on more than 30 CRM implementation projects and participated in more than 100 customer advisory sessions over the past five years in a variety of business sectors. Mr. Balliet has over 14 years experience in applying practical technology solutions to complex, multi-channel, multi-user operational and customer-centric projects.
With a focus on helping Optegra’s clients to better understand the role of CRM in the overall information technology environment, including work management and reengineering, he excels at aligning technical implementation strategies with defined business strategies and developing return-on-investment models and risk mitigation plans for those strategies.
Mr. Balliet also assists clients with the development of innovative technology alternative to solve enterprise-wide, multi-channel CRM problems. He specializes in developing strategies for integrating operational and analytical applications across traditional systems including customer data warehouses, contact centers, sales force automation and operational legacy systems.
Prior to co-founding Optegra, Mr. Balliet was with E.piphany, a leading CRM software vendor. He was responsible for creating solution strategies for clients worldwide and for developing and managing the daily operations of implementation services, training and customer support teams. He has also served as Vice President of Professional Services for Moss Software and, prior to that, as a software architect for both Unisys and Network Imaging.
